MVHA Mission Statement
The Montour Valley Horsemen's Association was established in 1950 and was incorporated in 1960. The club rides each and every Sunday at various places such as Hillman State Park, Raccoon Creek State Park, Beaver Creek State Park in Ohio, Salt Fork, Harrison State Park, Mingo Park and welcomes other clubs to join in on the fun. We also hold various other social events such as our annual MVHA horse show held at the Baker Farm in June (see our horse show link), the annual MVHA banquet followed by a Night at the Races at the Meadows, along with cookouts and a Halloween party for members and their families, as well as monthly meetings from February till November on the first Monday of every month at 7:30 pm at the Baker Farm. Please see our link for membership application and directions to the farm. The mission of the MVHA also encourages the teaching of horsemenship thru the proper use of corrals, stables and horseback riding, as well as encouraging the protection of horse breeders and horse owners.
